Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

By on February 6, 2015

For this week’s Fair Trade Friday, I have stumbled across an awesome Valentine’s Day gift collection from Gifts With a Cause… and there is a sale!

Gifts With a Cause is certified by the Fair Trade Federation. From the website:

As a member of the Fair Trade Federation, Gifts With A Cause works directly with artisans in developing countries to assist them in producing high quality jewelry, scarves, purses, and home decor items. We then share their stories and inspire consumers so that each of us can provide a hand-up to those in need by honoring their work and purchasing their products. We pay each artisan a sustainable wage as we honor their culture and their desire to work.

The Valentine’s collection has jewelry, scarves, purses, pretty sculpted hearts–and beautiful artwork created by elephants!

So check out Gifts With a Cause soon–there’s still time for shipping before the 14th!

For more Valentine’s ideas–chocolate, coffee, and more, see Fair Trade USA’s Valentine’s Day Gift Guide.

Each Friday I’ll be highlighting a fair trade company, product, or issue, and add these links to my ever-growing list of information and resources. (Disclaimer: I am not being compensated in any way by any of these organizations or companies–just sharing links and products as I find them!)

Do you have any favorite fair trade products or brands? Let me know in the comments so I can add them!
